Ward House

What? No fire?

How does that happen?  We set the thermostat for 66, check the fire (going strong) and went to bed.  This morning, I rose, turned up the heat to 68 and went about the morning.  My youngest, Katie, came down and asked why cold air was blowing through the vents.  Hmmm.  Not supposed to happen!  Snatching work gloves, I doned my flip flops (appropriate footware for cold wet grass!) and went to the furnace.  Still stacked, burnt and no fire.  Since the house was still at 66 we figure the fire had not been out long yet we cannot figure what caused it to stop burning.  Hmmms.
