Warm Weather
Warm Weather pulls me outside. With that pull comes the ‘what to wear’ dilemma; it must be something practical for the job at hand coupled with a body that has changed. I no longer lay out in the sun to get that toasty brown skin that is forgiving of the smaller imperfections, there is some extra padding that has created some self-confidence issues. My love of skirts, even short ones, has grown. Love ’em, gotta have ’em, they are perfect for most tasks -except horseback riding and stall mucking… and others. These folds of fabric are forgiving AND flattering, the hems can be tucked and kept out of the way while creating a peasant look.
What do you wear when the garden, planting, or when the outdoors-in-general call?
I wear skirts in the garden most of the time, long ones too. I have a couple relegated to “garden skirt” only. They’re stained, especially around the hems but I don’t care. I find them the most comfortable. I wear skirts hiking too – I suppose, I’m just more comfortable in skirts than anything else.

Kathie, I am so glad you found me there! =) Is it possible to have a skirt fetish?

Hi Annette ~ I love my skirts also , sometimes I wear them in the garden too. But my favorite thing to wear in the garden especially until it gets warmer are thin pants , sometimes yoga pants.
Glad to hear you and hubby got the bike started and made it home Easter. We’ve had a few of those bike trips in past ourselves.
I put my eggs in a pot with a tight fitting lid , bring to a boil and turn off heat. They should be ready in 20 minutes , drain hot water and put them in cold water for a little while before peeling. I don’t like making deviled eggs , so can’t help there (LOL).

Ah, thin pants. All my yoga’s are black; I’ll have to check the Goodwill & see what they have. Yeah, the bike thing was interesting. Hoping it is diagnosed/fixed prior to a trip to Lancaster in May. Now that would be something for us to be picked up by a horse and buggy!
Thank you for the egg tip and following me here! =) *hugs*
